In Amsterdam a man was beaten up when he was walking in the streets with a 'Gay & Gadgets' shopping bag. After the sexual revolution and upcoming Dutch gay rights movement the clock has been set back by conservative and intolerant minority groups in city. The incident was an opportunity to create a on- and offline solidarity campaign where the public could express themselves on the streets with printed shopping bags (and in their own words).
